This is hard. I really like how things are going so far and the running game is a big surprise. I also think that the defensive line is a big surprise and am very happy about both. In the end though I gave my vote to the offensive line. They lost 3 of their five starters and have come back to be in my opinion better. The running backs are great but who is opening those holes for them. I am loving this whole team. Its really coming together out on the field and there could be great things to come. Each game has shown a weakness but also strengths I did not know where there. I think that our schedule is so easy yet testing in the beginning that we can really shore everything up by the time we need to and really have a true force in the Big 12. Great time to be a Jayhawk.

KanFan27- I picked the offensive line as well. However, I do wonder if part of the early success is carry over from last season. If I remember right, the running plays we were running for Sharp early last year really did not compliment his running style. When we hit Big 12 play things were switched up to suit his style and the running game became somewhat successful. I think I remember Mangino saying something about this last year. Either way, the running game is better than I could have imagined it. I was also impressed with the way Opurum was running over people on Saturday, great power and size for a freshman. Sharp also looks quicker if that is possible.

I will take the D-line. The offensive line for one has to get the snap to Reesing better. I know they are new, but they have a little ways to go. I think they will get there.

The offensive line has been good...other than throwing every other snap ten yards over Reesing's head. That is a surprise after the last two years, but not a pleasant one. D-line all the way.
