Keegan: Unhurried, Bradford picked Kansas apart
Guys - Both offense and defense - No one should have to say this, but either you bring your A+ game and make zero mistakes, or you might not win another game this season. And that's excluding Reesing, about whom I have no complaints whatsoever.

Keegan: Meier faithful receiver
I would think any coach in the nation would love to have Kerry on his team! He's the most versatile player we have, very athletic and talented, and has a wonderful attitude. Kerry is awesome!

Morris twins declared eligible
to WichitaKUJHAWK: OUCH. That's "I would've been hard pressed," NOT "Would of..." I remember learning about contractions in elementary school, so it never ceases to amaze me how many adults make this mistake.

Michael Phelps vs. Todd Reesing
Reesing hands down. Phelps doesn't hold a candle to Reesing in the looks department.
And Texas is a great state. Driving through it once does not give you enough experience to form an educated opinion.

The Anatomy of a Bad Story
Dugan might even become a KU fan. It happens. My son was lukewarm, at best; in fact, determined to be unhappy, when he came here, and by the end of his third semester, Jayhawk spirit had gotten to him and he was hooked. He was one of the thousands of faces in the crowd on Massachusetts Street after the semi-final win over North Carolina and after the National Championship. "Resistance is futile; you will be assimilated." (OK, so it's a lame cliche, but it applies.) How can anyone hang around KU and not be taken in by Jayhawk spirit ?

Can it get any better?
I think you shouldn't speak disrespectfully of K-State before the season even starts, because if they surprise you and end up doing well, then you look like an idiot. It's like political ads... you should promote your own guy but don't disparage the opponent, especially since he is rarely quite as bad as you make him out to be.

KU picked 13th in USA Today Coaches' Poll
Read Steward Mandell's book, "Bowls, Polls & Tattered Souls." Pre-season polls - in fact all polls - genuinely mean absolutely nothing. The public loves and demands rankings but they don't prove anything, in reality.

Jayhawk football team reporting to campus
The LJWorld does a great job. Kansas City only has one major daily, and I've just about given up reading their online edition because the LJWorld and its readers are friendlier to KU and the Jayhawks.

Woodling: Lawsuit gives T's new life
Mizzou fans think KU fans are classless. Wearing "Muck Fizzou" shirts just perpetuates that perception. Classless people will always be classless. It's unfortunate that they represent KU.

New turnpike signs boast of KU's 2008 accomplishments
While I enjoy the National Championship and Rock Chalk Championship 2-DVD set, I would rather have had the entire KU-UNC semi-final on DVD than just highlights. Also, the second DVD, "The Jayhawks' run to..." did not include the shot of Bill Self at the very end of the Davidson game. I know I can find it on the internet, but I would rather have it on that DVD. The Orange Bowl DVD left out some of the FOX post-game stuff I wanted, also. Oh, well.
