I would suggest that possibly the team could be assessed an unsportsmanlike penalty everytime that trash comes out of the stands. That would take care of it, I suspect. Let's get that stopped, somehow.

Keegan: Don't freak out yet

As always I was at the very entertaining game Saturday, as as always, when the game is televised I recorded it to watch the next day. The recording showed numerous times many young children really enjoying the game despite the damp conditions. I thought that was really a good thing. Unfortunately, the telecast also caught the trash chant coming from the student section on each of the KU kickoffs. That IS NOT A GOOD THING AND I WISH THERE WERE A WAY TO GET THAT NONSENSE STOPPED. We are better than that.

Woodling: Roy still popular topic

Actually, Roy is right about the logos. There have been many "slippages" on those things and serve no purpose. Who in this world is not aware that this is the NCAA basketball tournament? That giant logo in the center of the field is unnecessary and, yes, dangerous.

Jayhawks must share title

That last second shot vs. UK is an abomination. He should not have been in the game to take that shot. That is the game where Christian found a Kentuky player laying flat on his back and intentially stomped him in the chest. The gutless officials saw it, called a foul on it, but did not kick him out of the game. As I said, an abomination.

Senior Night leaves mark on coach

I lost interest in the top 25 list when they showed Wilt Chamberlain at 10th. There are 9 players greater than Wilt? Get real! No other player in the history of the game had rules changed just because of him. And that was before he started playing. What a joke.

A cure for KU's ails

Keegan and others: we are so fortunate to have you guys to figure out what to do with this "failing" (24-3 is it?) team. Our coaches and players need only read your articles and comments to take care of all their problems. Hey, Keegan, the coaching job at Indiana will soon be open. With all that knowledge I'm sure you will be a strong candidate. That would be great for Indiana in that if they lose a football game or two or . . . they will have you there to double up and tell those coaches what they need to do also.
