In former Kansas star Darrell Arthur, the Grizzlies believe they have secured a third "lottery" pick. According to sources, Arthur is still seething over a draft-day circus that saw the 6-foot-9 forward slip from a potential lottery pick to a late first-round selection thanks to teams being misinformed about a possible kidney ailment. Adding insult to, well, insult was the fact that Arthur was traded three times before eventually winding up in Memphis.

"He's playing with a big chip on his shoulder," one front-office source said.

KU's Lee accepts coaching position

Congrats to Lee, but I have to agree with Nicka. Although I'm sure Case gave his all day in and day out at practice, I held my breath when he came into the game. "Best Shooter" on the team, but constantly bricked them when he came in. I'm sure if he had more playing time, his stroke would get warm but I just got so tired of EVERYTIME he came in, I had to hear Bob Davis talk about how great he was.

Jayhawks split on final ranking: No. 7

All I hear is everyone complaining about us not being respected. Do we really deserve the respect right now? Seriously, we have really sucked for quite a while. We really need to learn how to cheer at football games too. Sure we were loud in Miami, but Missouri kicked our ass at Arrowhead with that f'ing MIZ...ZOU BS. Plus they outnumbered us 65-35% easily!!

Let's keep on keeping on, and in 10 years, this BS won't happen.

Talib going to NFL

Keegan: Jayhawks prove they're best ever

justanotherfan-Talib is not only a 1st day pick, 1st round pick, he will go in the top 10. With the extra exposure that he received last night (pick 6 and MVP), and the fact that he's a big, strong, quick, smart cornerback who can also be a kick returner...combine all that with the fact that the NFL is ALWAYS looking for the shutdown corners, he's guaranteed to go top 10. In the '05 draft, I can think of 3 DBs that were in the top 9 and a couple more drafted in the first round. Pacman Jones, Rolle, Rogers, Davis, Washington and Jackson. Pacman is a P.O.S., but he can play, Rolle, is pretty dang good too, and Rogers can hold his own against anybody. I have a hard time thinking that Talib wouldn't be the 2nd DB picked in next years draft.
