Stay home! That's why they invented TVs - so you don't have to deal with people. Donate money to the university to help support them, and stay home. And you know what? The KU crowd doesn't even get that loud. We're pretty lame in that regard. Cheering is part of the game. Sorry.
Hm... AFH reaches over 100 decibels... if I remember right, that's like having a jet plane fly off with you near by, right? It doesn't even get close to that in Memorial Stadium. The closest it came to like that was during the Texas game last year. Quit your complaining.
Wow this is just stupid...its called home field advantage moron...This is the dumbest thing I have read in a long time...Dont ever go to a game at NU or any other major football school for that matter...At NU you cant even hear yourself think most of the game...The KU crowd needs to be louder if anything...They are going to add more seats and I think that will help...I have never heard of a fan asking for his team's crowd to be quieter wow.
This is Andy Kaufman gone wrestling sarcasm. The comedy is in how hard you sell it. No way this is serious.
But just to play both sides: there is a cultural understanding that when you attend a sporting event, there will be noise involved. You agree to this and dismiss all liability to the franchise when you attend, which is why no one would ever win a law suit against a sports team for "noise pollution."
Besides, "Players and fans alike could greatly benefit from sensible guidance from coaches and the athletic director." Yeah, cause that's worked so well with the "rip his ****ing head off" chant.....
But back to the truth of the blog, all I can say is "Andy are you goofing on Elvis? Hey, baby, are you having fun?"
